Joyce Brandful has three decades of communication development and management experience including marketing and advertising. She worked for twenty-one years with UNICEF emergency, development and transition programmes in Ghana, Madagascar, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Haiti. She worked with national media and local journalists to improve reporting on children and engaged children as reporters about their own interests and issues in the DRC. Her collaboration with international media journalists helped to leverage resources for peace and development. As Manager for Communication for Development (C4D) in UNICEF Haiti she left a resource legacy of partnerships with community radios and introduced C4D into the curriculum of two national training institutions. Joyce Brandful has continued to work as consultant in Communication – C4D strategy development and management of External Communication since her relocation to Ghana in 2013.
